I definately like this picture. It has the feeling of an old map where you
would see giant sea serpants in the random corner of the water (the tail
reminded me of it), or you'd have a seal with a gorgeous hawk adorning a seal or
something along those lines.
Though, I have a slight problem with it... and it's probably just me being
picky, but isn't his tongue starting a bit too close to the edge of his beak? I
thought hawk's tongues were dug farther back into their mouthes.
Other than that, it's a great piece of art. Definately love the wings as well.
Your cutout could use some work. I would suggest learning to re-CG so the
bottom-right of his cape, that is cut off because the original scan they were on
the far right (I assume?), can be avoided and you can have a smooth wall without
those nasty descrepencies. Also, the image quality of the scan is a bit lacking
(more reason to CG!) .
i don't quite understand the circles under them, but they're a bit too crisp for
the wallpaper itself. They kind of stick out, also because they're not colored
to the same palatte as the wall itself.
Another thing is, a suggestion if you don't want to learn to CG is put some of
the stuff that's in the background in the foreground. Like move a layer of
leaves OVER the characters to cover up some nasty spots you don't feel like
dealing with. This will not only cover up bad spots, but put the characters
into the 'feel' of the wall more.
Very nice bawfg! But I'm not sure if you noticed... the pole-part of Link's
arrow is mysteriously missing. I see the head and the glove behind it... but no pole. Unless of course,
Link is just too uber to use regular arrows-- which is most likely the truth.
DAMN boink, that is a NICE cutout... and yeah, I can tell you touched up the
blade of the katana. But yeah, freakin' awesome cutout and nice blend to the
b/g.

doesn't mean Death Angel. ^_^; I think you might've been going for "Shi no
Tenshi", because that means Death Angel.
But anyway... the wall is mediocre. Personally, your planets looks flat, like
the texture you used has no depth to them. And the ones in the upperright
corner don't have to correct perspective to be the way you have them. Other
than that your cutout could you a tad bit work. And I don't think you should
have used that rock texture as a fadded b/g before the stars.
